Position Details
Tilson is looking for an ETL Consultant to assist our Construction Industry clients in moving from one ERP software system to another. This role will be responsible for extracting data from a variety of legacy systems, conditioned or translated it to a format that is compatible with the new system’s data structures and initial loading processes, then loaded in accordance with our stringent process and controls.
Responsibilities:

Will participate in proposing, designing, and implementing solutions following the Tilson ETL architecture, standards, methodology and tools used.

Conduct various client facing sessions such as Discovery, Scope, Planning, Status Reporting, etc.

Translate requirements from the business into technical code.

Implement stored procedures and effectively query a database.

Performs source data mapping to map the data from source systems to the target data model.

Identify and test for bugs and bottlenecks in the ETL solution.

Ensure the best possible performance and quality in the packages.

Ability to report your progress within a team structure.

Follows Tilson’s best practices on data conversion.

Provide excellent customer service, empathy, and build relationships with the Client.

Bring your knowledge, experience professionalism to every situation.

Volunteer and Express your thoughts and ideas around solutions or processes.
Qualifications:
-
Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to interface professionally with a diverse group of Clients, including management and senior level executives.

Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.

Entrepreneurial spirit and self-motivated.
-
Exceptional team (and self-testing) quality assurance, processes, and execution.

High Level of experience with MSSQL/SMSS. Ability to create views, functions, stored procedures, etc.

Knowledge of cloud based ETL processes and/or API usage beneficial.

Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL and T-SQL.

Understanding of MSSQL Linked Servers and ODBC/OLE.

Experience with CMiC, Vista by Viewpoint, or other Construction ERP systems strongly preferred.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in related field, and a strong understanding of construction ERP systems.
