Job Description:
The Event Coordinator works closely with the Event Sales Supervisor and the Director of Sales in creating memorable experiences for our guests. The Event Coordinator handles all aspects of the birthday parties and smaller events. EVO Entertainment is a fun, fast paced, exciting work environment. At EVO, you will be expected to never set ceilings and constantly be surrounded by co-workers who will feel like an extension of your family.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain detailed knowledge of all EVO Entertainment venues to include movie theatres, restaurants, dine-in theatres, bars, gaming, virtual reality, live music, event spaces, group events, and meetings.
- Respond to leads and create proposals for birthday parties and events of 25 guests or less for their assigned location(s).
- Prompt response and documentation to all guest’s inquiries.
- Conduct site visits with potential clients.
- Facilitate customization of social and smaller corporate events tailor made for guests with guidance from Event Sales Supervisor and Director of Sales to meet guest’s expectations
- Ensure all logistics for events are correct. Coordinate details with theatre GM, event staff, and kitchen staff including set up/breakdown, decorations, food/beverage, theater rentals, film schedule, special arrangements, etc.
- Open to hosting events when necessary.
- Process event payments through booking portal and manage event tabs through POS system.
- Open to working late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to ensure high-quality guest experience.
- Project EVO’s Mission and Vision Statements to team members and guests.
- Other duties as assigned by Events Sales Supervisor and Director of Sales.
Qualifications
- Computer skills preferred
- Guest service experience preferred
- Food Handlers Certificate required
- TABC Certificate required
- Must be able to lift 30lbs or more
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
