EW Software Engineer - Modeling and Simulation Job at Peraton
Responsibilities:
Peraton Overview:
Peraton Labs is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Developer for a position based in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This position will require the candidate to:
- Conduct M&S development, runs and analysis in multi-agent M&S environments.
- Develop software in various languages and platforms.
- Communicate technical information via various forms: presentation, papers, meetings.
- Process large amounts of data into readable results for stakeholders
- Translate EW algorithms from theory into an M&S framework for test and evaluation
- Utilize principles of EW as considerations for algorithm development and optimization
- Debug algorithms and source code in a complex M&S enviornment
Requires 5 to 7 years with BS or 3 to 5 years with MS or 0 to 2 years with PhD
- Degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience with AFSIM: modifying source code, creating plug-ins and set-up scenarios
- Experience using Python and/or MATLAB languages and interfacing these languages in an M&S enviornment
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of RF systems and concepts
- Knowledge of RF threat systems and Army conops
- Knowledge of Electronic Warfare
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning principles and techniques

Salary Range: Salary Minimum: $57,500 Salary Mid: $115,000 Salary Maximum: $143,800 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
