The Opportunity

The Executive Assistant provides administrative support for the Human Resources Leadership Team, including maintaining schedules and travel, planning meetings and setting up related technology, managing and processing expenses, screening incoming calls, and preparing documents (word processing, spreadsheet, and presentations). He or she will work under minimal supervision, exercising initiative and judgment. This position will involve working with sensitive and confidential information and thus requires a high degree of discretion and trust.


The Work Itself


  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Assist with special projects, reports and activities.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees.
  • Serve as the focal point for I-9 verifications.
  • Preparation of org charts for Ally entities and board meetings.
  • Produce expense reports and process invoices as necessary.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for executives and other team members as required.
  • Prioritize work assigned to meet individual goals of the executives.
  • Conduct miscellaneous analysis and reporting.
  • Prepare and proof correspondence, reports, presentations and other written material.
  • Coordinate calendar and scheduling for assigned executives and schedule various meetings as required.

  • Works with a sense of urgency
  • Organization and Planning - can orchestrate and handle multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal; anticipates and adjusts for problems and roadblocks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong working knowledge of and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Previous administrative or related experience required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
