MDOT MAA is currently accepting applications for the position of Executive Associate I within the Division of Planning & Engineering at the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Marshall Airport).
The Executive Associate I provide direct support to the Chief Engineer and Deputy Chief Engineer in the Division of Planning & Engineering.
Responsibilities in this position include but are not limited to:
The proper handling and storage of correspondence in accordance with the MDOT MAA's standard operating procedures.

- Managing the Division’s records handling work procedures;
The management of the Divisions office assignments, office maintenance, and the Chief and Deputy Chief’s supplies availability; and
Working with minimal supervision while exercising good judgement, demonstrating flexibility and agility, prioritizing multiple tasks with competing deadlines, managing schedule conflicts and providing excellent follow through.
This position is located at BWI Marshall Airport in Anne Arundel County, MD.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: Five years of experience in secretarial work. *This experience must have involved providing administrative support for senior and/or executive level leadership.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Excellent administrative writing and communication skills
- Experience managing processes, data compiling, and preparing written correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Excellent time management, organizational and customer service skills
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite, (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or a similar program
