Executive Legal Assistant Job at Steve Madden
General Summary: This position provides administrative, strategic, and operational support to management in the day-to-day operations of the Company.
Major Responsibilities:
- Provide executive legal assistance to General Counsel and Legal Department
- Proactively manage status of contracts and track renewals, expirations and other key dates
- Develop and ensure compliance with contracting processes and standards
- Manage legal billing system and assist with review of invoices
- Interface and establish ongoing positive business relationships with internal clients and outside counsel
- Organize and store legal documents and files
- Schedule, monitor and assist in the completion and presentation of projects and trainings
- Answer telephone, field questions, take messages, and schedule appointments
- Retrieve mail, e-mail and faxes.
- Special projects as needed
- Other duties may be assigned

Education, Licenses, Certificates, Registrations and/or Experience:
- College Degree or Equivalent
- 2-4 years' experience in a related field
- Must be proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Must be able to use contract management and billing software
Salary Range:The pay range of this position is90,000-100,000. Actual salary will be determined based off candidate's skill sets, years of experience, and other job-related factors. This range does not include benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, 401K, and additional company benefits.
