Wanted: Metal Fabricator

HS Customs, located in Logan, Utah - is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding and first-hand experience working with high-end custom cars, race cars, custom 4x4 and all aspects of building and customizing cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc. Our vision is to build and restore custom cars and trucks, second to nobody! Requirements: Previous industry-specific experience and training with references. Metal fabrication skills should include: Advanced sheet metal forming, plasma table, manual mill / lathe, MIG/TIG welding systems, tube & sheet metal bending and all other aspects of metal working. Pride in a finished product is essential. The ideal candidate should be able to design and build simple and complex shapes that require precise measurements and tight tolerances. The candidate should also be able to understand / have experience with steering and suspension geometry and fabricate accordingly. Creativity and “thinking outside the box” are strongly encouraged. Must be passionate about classic autos / hot rods. Reliable form of transportation, valid driver’s license, solid work ethic, calm demeanor, positive attitude, extreme attention to detail, must be punctual and on-time, must provide own tools, advanced mathematical skills, ability to work well with others. Must be willing to maintain current licenses and attend various classes to further develop skills within the industry as assigned by HS Customs. We are NOT looking to train an individual.

Desirable qualifications: Manufacturer specific training, industry-specific training. Solidworks, CAD, CAM, CNC

Must be physically able to: Stand, sit, stoop, kneel, and bend for long periods of time. Operate various equipment and machinery such as: lifts, presses, brakes, grinders, welders, pneumatic tools, saws, etc.. Lift objects up to 75 pounds. Working conditions vary from: temperate, cold, hot and dusty. Candidate must be willing and able to utilize personal protective equipment such as masks, respirators, gloves, face shield, safety glasses, ear plugs, etc.

Pay depends on experience (DOE). We are not currently looking to train an individual.
