Fabricator Job at Trulite Glass and Aluminum Solutions
Our company is one of North America's largest architectural glass & aluminum fabricators and distributors. We are currently seeking a Fabricator for our Grenada, MS location. Requirements include but are not limited to:
- Must be at least 18 years of age and be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
- Must be able to work and communicate as a member of a team
- Must be able to wear company-issued cut resistant safety shirt, cut resistant apron/chaps, hard hat, steel-toed shoes with metatarsal protection, safety glasses, gloves and hearing protection
- Must be able to work overtime with flexible starting times
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs. unassisted and up to 150 lbs. with a partner
Essential Duties include but are not limited to:
- Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specifications
- Match glass work orders with picking list
- Daily inspections - Look for any unsafe objects, check equipment, etc.
- Regular and predictable attendance, safe performance of tasks and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of the job.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The shop floor working environment is subject to unusually warm temperatures during the summer months due to the heat generated by the glass furnaces. Must be able to work in temperatures consistent with the same outdoor climate conditions of the region (heat, humidity, etc.)
