Welder Fabricator Ironworker

OWC is a fast paced job shop looking for a few qualified candidates who are skilled in welding, fabrication, print reading, and the challenges that come with installing steel on existing structures. All positions are both in-house fabrication/repair and on the road installation/repair with available positions from apprentice welder to crew supervisor.

Candidates should meet the following requirements:
-Valid Driver's License
-Experience in layout/ fabrication, welding or general construction
-Ability to climb ladders, stairs (no height fears)
-Ability to lift/ carry +75lbs
-Positive Attitude
-Ability to interface with customers and represent the company professionally

Candidates will be ranked on an order of merit list and invited to interview based on the following:
-Relevant work experience
-Similar work experience
-Veteran status

Candidates are hired to a 60-day trial period. Candidates may be relieved prior to period completion for lack of competency or reliability. Upon successful completion of the trial period, candidates may be offered full time employment with benefits.

Upon hiring candidates must obtain the following prior to trial period start date at the expense of the company:
-NFPA Hot Work Safety Certificate
-OSHA 10 certification
-Commercial drivers physical exam
-DMV Driving record
