Facilities Associate - Utility Sweeper Job at Palm Harbor Homes, Inc. (Delaware)
Essential Duties and responsibilities:
- Monitors all assigned areas throughout shift, sweeping and/or collecting any apparent waste
- Maintains cleanliness in all assigned areas, eliminating safety hazards
- Performs plant and yard maintenance as directed
- Performs miscellaneous duties as directed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Be able to read, write, and speak English
- High School diploma, preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Versatility and willingness to perform various tasks as necessary
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with other Team Members
Working conditions:
- Continuous exposure to heat, cold, noise, and working outdoors
- Must wear protective equipment while in the plant
Physical requirements:
- Requires walking, squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling and climbing to a high degree
- Heavy Work-Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees as well as function safely around construction equipment
