Nashville’s Anheuser-Busch Distributor, Ajax Turner Company, is hiring a FACILITIES SPECIALIST. Ajax Turner Company, founded in 1961, is a multi-generational, family owned and operated business located in La Vergne between Murfreesboro and Downtown Nashville. NOTE: This position does NOT require a maintenance degree of any kind. We are looking for someone (preferably) mechanically inclined that can help perform preventive and problem solving work to maintain our company office and warehouse space. This position will report to our Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 7:00am- 4:30pm. These hours can flex depending on emergency business needs.
PAY RANGE: $19- $22 per hour based on experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identifying and resolving cleanliness and facilities issues.
- Ensuring facilities systems are within operational standards.
- Performing daily maintenance/facilities routine.
- Troubleshooting facilities issues, reporting those issues, and coordinating repair plan.
- Adhering to company safety policies including fall protection, proper PPE, Lock-Out Tag-Out Procedures, etc.
- Assisting the Director of Hospitality in conference room set-up and cleanup for events.
- Inspecting and operating the Tennant T-20 scrubber.
- Following procedures and processes without direct oversight.
- Ability to perform all jobs on the Facilities Team.
- Fulfilling pre-established programs and objectives set by management.

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent safety record and understanding of the importance of workplace safety.
- Must be able to pass background check.
- Must be personable and good communicator.
- Tow Motor / MPE Certified or willing to train for this certificate.
- Must be resourceful and willing to take initiative with the ability to quickly solve problems.
- Friendly, courteous, works well with others, and maintains a professional appearance.
- Ability to work independently and as a team
