Facility Associate (closing)

Full Job Description:

We are looking to hire a qualified person to fill the role of Facility Associate (closing) to assist in running our daily schedule, as well as working to maintain our facility.

Responsibilities & Duties include but are not limited to:

Facility:

· Closing facility and completing Closing Checklist: trash out, cages picked up, etc.

· Simple maintenance/checking of pitching machines, turf, nets, balls etc.

· Pro Shop: re-stock shelves and keep product organized

· Ensure cages are organized when not in use and make sure schedule/rotations are on time.

· Spot clean if needed throughout the facility (including turf, parent lounge, restrooms, and party room)

The facility is ready for the evening, now what?

· Greet customers and guide them to the front desk to check in

· Give tours to new customers

· Monitor phones/email

· Help customers book lessons, cage rentals, and events

· Help activate/deactivate pitching machine cards

· Make outbound calls as directed

· Review information about products

· Be knowledgeable about what events we have to offer and about our instructional staff

· Sell memberships and obtain signed agreements

· Proactively SELL (products, memberships, lessons, cage rentals, events).

· Create accurate customer profiles and obtain signed waivers

· Hand out flyers

· Be “front and center”

· Complete Shift Report and send to GM

· Sell gear and pass out promotional materials at tournaments in season

Qualifications:

· Sports background or passion for sports (baseball/softball preferred)

· Excellent customer service and people skills. Must be comfortable asking questions and communicating with customers and co-workers

· Sales experience is a plus (memberships, products, bookings)

· Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing needs

Shift & Schedule:

· Monday-Friday: 3:30pm-9:30pm (during Camp Days-2:30pm shift start)

· In tournament season: rotate Saturdays (times vary depending on tournament schedule)

· Possibility for additional incentives

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
