TalentEdge is assisting our client looking for an experienced Industrial Facilities Maintenance Supervisor located in Farmington, NY

Responsibilities:

Core Competencies:

• Budget management
• Expert Mechanical Maintenance Skills (trucks, forklifts, and mill equipment etc.)
• Skilled Facilities Maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, code compliance.)
• Strong Building Safety Experience and Attention to Detail.
• Strong ability to price, negotiate, and supervise all outside vendor & contractor services.
• Manage and train facilities and maintenance personnel.

Equipment & Vehicles:

• Responsible for all repair and scheduled maintenance for company cars, trucks, forklifts, mill equipment, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing systems.
• Manage facilities and maintenance budget split over several divisions.

Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure building and campus safety compliance of equipment including (but not limited to): general safety violations, fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, dust collection system, lighting, exits, and accessibility.
• Responsible for safety inspections and compliance with our insurance company, OSHA, municipal fire inspection, and all others.

Facilities Exterior & Interior:

• General janitorial/ custodial: occasional moping, window cleaning, lightbulb replacement, etc.

Misc.

• Research: Parts, equipment, sourcing, vendors etc.
• Paperwork such as PO’s, bills, receipts, employee timecards, expenses etc.
• Special Projects as assigned.
• Travel as assigned.

Requirements:

• Vocational Training in manufacturing, carpentry, machinery or similar is strongly desired.
• Must have at least 5-7years warehouse experience working on manufacturing equipment or warehouse, raw materials, CNC/ saws, and construction equipment fields preferred and will be helpful in this role.
• Mechanical or maintenance aptitude/training a plus.
• Prior safety training/OHSA certifications a plus, not required.
• Prior Forklift Training or certifications a plus, not required.
• Strong ability to price, negotiate, and supervise all outside vendor & contractor services.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency with verbal and written communication including common computer applications (Microsoft word, Excel, Web, Email, Phone, and text etc.)
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
• Analytical troubleshooting / problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
• Significant hands-on experience with industrial production and/or mechanical troubleshooting and repair

Working A-shift -M-F Full-time-Need to have Flexibility in scheduled hours-could work 10HRS- M-TH, FR is shorter, depends on work, Normal hours are start 6am/7am-4pm.

DIRECT HIRE with client, pay range: $60-85K Pay commensurate with experience.

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of pre-employment background screenings.
