Supply Chain Management - 1-year appointment

Job Description:

The Management Department at Niagara University invites applications for a one-year, full-time Faculty Fellow Instructor position, specializing in Supply Chain Management, beginning in August 2023. The position may lead to a multi-year contract dependent on performance, need, and budget approvals.

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate must possess a Master's degree, preferably an MBA. Professional experience of at least ten years in the field of supply chain management/logistics is essential, with one or more of the following supporting areas preferred: international management, information systems, or e-commerce. Some teaching experience at the college level or in corporate training is required.

Job Duties: The candidate selected will be required to teach four courses in each of the fall and spring semesters. The courses assigned will primarily be face-to-face undergraduate supply chain management courses, although some graduate courses may be assigned. Depending on department needs courses may include related disciplines, delivery may be accelerated, or through online formats. Effectively incorporating the university's learning management system, Canvas, is required. As a full-time faculty member, advising students, attending periodic meetings, and holding regular office hours will also be expected. The position supports the college's Center for Supply Chain Excellence and a candidate who can develop meaningful opportunities for academic and career growth for the students in supply chain management is ideal.
