As a Fall Protection Specialist, you will have the opportunity to impact the health and of workers at height and be seen as a valued partner in the safety industry. The Fall Protection Specialist for the New England Territory will serve the states of Northeast New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.

Successful team members will:

  • The candidate must live in a major metropolitan area of the territory
  • Achieve territory sales goals by developing business within the assigned territory and working with your business unit to deliver customer solutions. Performing onsite needs evaluations, product usage training, and consultations.
  • Prioritize key customer Fall Protection opportunities in their assigned markets
  • Actively participates in relevant corporate programs/initiatives, complies with professional and quality standards complies with corporate policies and procedures, and acts in a manner consistent with Diversified Fall Protection’s core values and ethical standards.
  • ResolveN, Take People to Higher Ground, Do the Right Thing, Be Versatile
  • Drive the Diversified Fall Protection brand message within the territory by networking with local and regional trade and industry groups.
  • Managing Fall Protection penetration within key end-user and development/growth of new sales channels.
  • Become a predominant Fall Protection SME in the territory through continuous learning and study
  • Document required activities and sales information in the CRM application

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of sales experience
  • 5 years of fall protection, safety-related, or technical sales experience

Preferred Skills

  • Strong public speaking skills
  • Safety Industry experience, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to solve complex problems and explain complex systems
  • Ability to lift 50lbs, climb ladders, and walk uneven surfaces
  • History of working with and building sales channels and partners
  • History of developing business in new markets
  • Experience selling to and through Industrial and Construction Markets
  • Experience selling Capital Project Level Products and Services to end-user companies
  • Excellent technology skills with daily usage of Salesforce.com
  • CHST, CSP, QSSP, OSHA 30, 510, 500, 501, 511, or other safety training/certification

Additional Notes

  • Current, valid driver’s license is required.
  • Must reside or be willing to relocate to a geographical territory in the US

Pay: $75,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
