Pay Range: $25.68/hr to $32.58/hr, depending on experience, education, and preferred job requirements.

Location: 5333 15th Ave S Suite 1K Seattle, WA 98108. Will be required to travel.

Position Summary:

The Family and Community Partnerships Coordinator provides guidance and resources to other DLEC staff on family services and community resources and builds valuable partnerships across the community to aid in family recruitment and education.

Essential Functions

  • Consult with staff about family services and community resources, provide training on goal setting, progress tracking tools, needs assessment and other techniques to leverage in their daily work.

  • Monitor the development and progress of family goals. Provide monthly reports on goal status, assessment completion, and resources provided.

  • Plan group trainings and round-table discussions, and participate in check-in meetings and file reviews to provide information, resources, opportunities for discussion and monitoring of services.

  • Ensure compliance with all Head Start Performance Standards related to Health, Safety, Family, and Community Partnerships.

  • Develop relationships with social service agencies and participate in community committees/organizations, projects, and informational fairs to recruit new families and provide current resources for enrolled families.

  • Maintain an active presence in the community and look for ways to develop collaborative projects and relationships within the community.

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate a work plan and timeline for recruitment and outreach.

  • Participate in interagency and staffing meetings.

  • Encourage active and meaningful parent involvement in all aspects of the program including in Policy Council, Parent Advisory Groups, volunteer activities.

  • Oversee the socialization event calendar including planning/executing the socializations and parent nights, developing promotional materials, tracking attendance, conducting parent interest surveys and preparing and analyzing reports.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Foster a work environment that encourages teamwork, creative thinking, and quality service.

  • Collaborate with ERSEA and Family Service teams to create a yearly Outreach Service Plan.

  • Maintain current Resource Binders and continually update the established Intranet page.

  • Identify/attend meetings/conferences etc. rela,tedob and professional development.
