Family Law and Litigation Paralegal Job at Richter & Phillips LLP
Seeking experienced paralegal for part-time position in small, downtown Madison law firm with a focus on family law. The candidate is needed for approximately 30 hours per week; exact schedule is negotiable.
- Significant legal experience preferred, especially in family law or civil litigation.
- Relaxed, personal working environment while also maintaining professionalism and formality with the court, clients, opposing counsel.
- Seeking a self-sufficient, independent person needed to assist in the entire process of a case: from initial client intake, discovery drafting, pleading drafting, correspondence, hearing preparation, mediation preparation, trial preparation, settlement document drafting.
- Get to know clients personally, and communicate directly with them daily.
- Attitude and reliability are very important to us.
- Attention to detail, organization and proofreading skills are essential to this position.
