Head Start Family Support Representative: To assure progression within the guidelines of Head Start Performance Standards, the Family Support Representative will serve as a productive team member on an interdisciplinary team of professionals, including but not limited to Social Services, Health, and Education; establish respectful partnerships with families and community through case management, outreach, recruitment, and enrollment; provide social services, advocacy, goal setting, resource linkage and referral, family literacy, parent training, and educational opportunities; maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality with tact and discretion.

Qualifications: Associate's degree in Social Work or a closely related field such as Sociology, Psychology, Education, Human Family Sciences; or actively working towards the appropriate degree. After a 90-day probationary period begins working toward obtaining the appropriate Head Start Family Service Worker credential. Knowledge of community resources, strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills are needed. Proficiency in data entry and time management is a must. Bilingual is a plus but not required. Must have the ability to travel locally every day using a personal vehicle and some overnight travel for training and other work-related tasks. Must pass OSBI background check with fingerprints, current physical and TB screen, have a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License, and vehicle liability insurance in employee’s name
