Description: Workers will process and prepare ornamental plants for market. Work will be done in our refrigerated warehouses and our greenhouse ranges. Work duties may consist of grading and bundling plants, loading and unloading trucks of plant material, consolidating and boxing small plants as well as packing plants for storage in our warehouses or our overwintering houses in the greenhouse range. Forklift certification a plus but not required for certain jobs.
Qualifications Willing to work long hours outside in all types of weather, when in warehouses willing to work in cold/moist environment. Must be able to kneel, crouch, bend, reach, lift and carry items weighing up to sixty pounds. Able to operate nursery equipment, lawnmowers, weed eaters and various power tools. Can communicate and work well with others. Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Highlights: 40 + hours per week, bi-weekly pay Starting at $15.37 per hour depending on experience
Schedule typically Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Option to work seasonally (4 months) or year-round
