Third Future Schools/ The Academy of Advanced Learning is looking for a fiber arts instructor to lead a elective classes for 3/4th grade students and 7th/8th grade students.

Crocheting, knitting, weaving, other forms of fiber arts

These classes will run in the Spring Semester, January through May, with the possibility of continuing into Summer Semester.

Days/Hours:

• Monday - Friday

2 Classes per Day

• 60 Minute class periods
• Classes are 1:30-2:30 with our 7th and 8th grade students, and 3:00-4:00 with our 3rd and 4th grade students.

Contractor agrees to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• This is an in-person position, there is no option for remote work currently.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver specialized fiber arts instruction for students each scheduled school day
• Model behavior quality and habits of success
• Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress, and provide grades (pass/fail) in accordance with school procedures and regulations
• Manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking approved disciplinary procedures
• Provide availability to engage parents and families to support student learning
• Exhibit professionalism and leadership skills
• Be thorough and pay attention to detail

Compensation:

• $30/hr for each class taught
• This is an independent contractor position

Its first school, the Academy of Advanced Learning, is located in Aurora, CO. Two other schools, Coperni 2 and Coperni 3, serve students in Colorado Springs.
