- 4 years of enterprise technology or data center sales experience.
- 2 years in public/private Cloud sales (IaaS or PaaS).
Preferred qualifications:
- 8 years of experience selling in software or cloud sales.
- Experience in CRM systems integration.
- Experience in education or public sector.
- Ability to manage entire sales process from prospecting through close.
- Ability to speak credibly about platform and infrastructure-as-a-service, and perform basic technical qualification.

As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing a pipeline promoting Google for Education to higher education customers in North America. You will manage accounts, establish relationships, promote the value of technology in education, and build solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$166,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Build executive relationships with public sector customers. Influence long-term strategic direction and serve as a business partner.
- Manage entire complex business process, and present to C-level customers in the education sector.
- Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, working collaboratively with Customer Engineers, and Google Partners, to maximize business results and open up opportunities.
- Understand each customer’s technology footprint, strategic growth plans and business drivers, technology strategy, and competitive landscape.
- Drive business development, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
