Field Service Assembly Mechanic (Medical Devices) Job at Rightfit manufacturing

THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION

The Field Service Technician performs tasks associated with the Repair and service of mobile telemedicine stations. They utilize mechanical and electrical skills to assemble equipment and wire carts. Employees in this role travel extensively to customer sites to perform maintenance and repair of equipment delivered to these locations and customers. Temporary Field Technicians may be eligible to participate in a bonus plan. Bonus Criteria and requirements must be met to participate in this bonus plan.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Build product utilizing hand tools, power tools, and other small parts.

Perform any specified quality assurance checks designated for each job, function, or assignment.

Perform work assignments in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, service advisories, and safety policies.

Ability to document services and upload documentation remotely to appropriate channels.

*
Demonstrate ability to meet field service schedules and quality standards.

*
Actively participate in troubleshooting processes and document investigations, deviations, and exceptions.

*
Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas regardless if they are at customer sites

*
Review all completed documentation for accuracy and completeness following all operations.

*
Inspect tools and equipment regularly for any damage.

*
Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.

*
Ability to bend and kneel during assembly, and to walk and stand on concrete for extended periods of the workday.

*
Interface with customer representatives and serve as the point of contact at all times while performing work on customer products.

  • Travel extensively – up to 75% of the time.
  • Follow company travel policy and guidelines.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Other: Technical manufacturing and/or electronic soldering experience.
  • Must posses knowledge of electrical/ electronic troubleshooting medical devices, motors, controls, relays, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
