The Field Service Engineer position is responsible for daily service support of existing client base. They are responsible for repair, installation, and maintenance of systems at client sites as well as providing the best possible customer service experience.

Key Responsibilities

The position's primary duties will be to work closely with clients to plan and execute infrastructure projects, including new networks, upgrades, migrations, and firewall/internet implementations. In addition, the service engineer will work closely with our engineering team to support numerous existing client networks from desktops to virtual environments including off-site co-location. The ability to rapidly learn and embrace the latest technology is critical to the success of this individual, as we are constantly implementing/supporting the newest technology for our clients to stay ahead of the curve.

This position requires daily client interaction at sites throughout the southwest Florida area. We desire an individual who can create and execute step-by-step processes, train other engineers and intern staff, compose detailed project plans, present an organized and professional image to our customers and who can manage multiple tasks and competing priorities, all with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications

• 2-7 years of experience relating to all aspects of computer and server hardware, Microsoft Windows Server platforms, Microsoft Office 365, routing, switching, backups and firewalls
• Proven technical ability
• Live in the Naples, FL area with ability to travel to client sites within the state of Florida

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications and/or experience with Microsoft products (MCITP, MCSE, MCP, MCTS, CCNA, etc.), WatchGuard and Azure Microsoft Certification
• Two-year technical degree
• Strong deductive reasoning and rapid problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Strong desire and willingness to stay current with certifications
• Ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and professional environment
