We manufacture, import and export packaging machinery to Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Our equipment is used in numerous industries, including medical, pharmaceutical, food, and electronics.
Clamco, a PAC Machinery company, manufactures bagging and shrink packaging systems. Clamco offers a full line of flexible packaging equipment, including L-bar sealers, shrink tunnels, and automatic baggers. Clamco has a long-standing reputation for quality and can provide engineering expertise to assist with customizing products and systems.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Field Service Technician will be directly responsible for industrial equipment, equipment installation, trouble shoot equipment, and provide direct support to the engineering department. This individual will be solutions oriented with the ability to work independently in a high pressure, fast paced and innovative environment. Must possess a good driving record and able to travel domestic and internationally.

• Receive and perform field service calls, installations, preventative maintenance on industrial equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions utilizing standard electrical test equipment and identify corrective actions
• Ability to create and sustain customer relationships
• Assist with FAT (Factory Acceptance Test)
• Accurately report daily actives for invoicing and tracking proposes
• Willingness to travel at least 10 – 25% of the time both domestic and international

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Experience with packaging machines preferred
• Highly motivated, organized, and self-directed
• Computer literate. MS Office; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Associates degree or higher with minimum of 3 years Field Service experience
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Must have a US passport or willing to obtain a passport

Must demonstrate ability to read work instructions, literate in materials and inventory, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, deadline oriented, multiple task ability, strong basic math skills, strong leadership skills. Proficiency with a variety of hand tools and measuring devices. (I.e. screwdrivers, wrenches, measuring tapes/rulers, micrometers).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to operate in all areas of the Plant. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
