Our law firm is looking for a File Clerk/Office Assistant to join our team. We intend to digitize our client's files for easy access, management and storage. The successful candidate will be responsible for scanning, indexing, organizing and storing all files, documents, and records in an orderly fashion. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, proficient English grammar and Spelling, proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft File Explorer. The ideal candidate will also have experience with office equipment such as computers, copiers, and scanners.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Own transportation. Good file box storage organization skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain filing systems for documents and records.
  • Organize and store physical and digital documents.
  • Retrieve files as requested by staff members.
  • Perform data entry tasks.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning and mailing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
