We are looking to add a manager to our finance team. You will be responsible for financial forecasting, business partnering, and strategic and tactical analysis. You will build and manage financial models and develop strategies to shape our business. As a member of the finance team, you will support the foundations of a public-company finance organization, be a thought leader to our business partners and have frequent interaction with company leadership.

We will consider remote candidates and candidates local to the Bay Area for this position.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Distill complex financial data into actionable information, build and maintain financial models, analyze new trends and initiatives, and perform ad-hoc modeling and analysis as required
  • Support long range strategy, annual planning and forecasting processes
  • Assist with investor communication, executive reporting, board presentations, and fundraising as necessary
  • Assist in scaling our existing financial planning tool to provide additional insights and capabilities
  • Advise executives on financial performance, KPIs, and identify potential areas of improvement
  • Support teams across the company with various projects including headcount planning, ad hoc modeling, ROI analyses, and general budget variance analysis
  • Ensure reporting accuracy before each month’s final close with Accounting
  • Perform other related duties as required

ABOUT YOU

  • 5+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance or FP&A in a high-growth startup
  • Direct-to-consumer, Retail or CPG experience a plus
  • Strong handle on the three financial statements and how business decisions impact each
  • Highly organized and proven track record of handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • A forward-thinking, creative, and intellectually curious mindset that can accelerate the team’s potential
  • Proven ability to build trusting relationships with business partners and present to executives
  • A thoughtful work style that can dive deep into the numbers, but also think about the bigger picture
  • Experience working with financial planning software and ERP systems such as Adaptive or Netsuite
  • Exceptional proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets; comfort with large datasets

  • Compensation for this position is based on a national average of $125,000 - $135,000, and up to $158,000 for the San Francisco Bay Area.
This full-time, exempt position is remote. The budgeted salary range is $130 - $155. This pay range is based upon the national average and may vary depending on geographical work location.
