This remote role is not tightly linked to a physical location and provides flexibility in where, when and how you accomplish your work. Job Summary


This is a highly visible and impactful Finance Manager position within new product development. This role partners with the Engineering, Motorcycle Management, and other Product Development Teams to drive the results and outcomes of the company’s initiatives. As a leader, will also provide guidance, development, and coaching to direct reports.


Job Responsibilities


  • Active member of the assigned area’s leadership/project teams
  • Responsible for project and area financials including capital projects, analytics, modeling, and variance analysis, as well as ensuring projects are meeting financial KPIs.
  • Provide financial analysis and guidance in annual project planning cycle.
  • Oversee calculation, tracking, and, forecast of returns (IRR and NPV) for proposed motorcycle or parts & accessory projects.
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic plan updates for the respective area.
  • Present financial updates to business leaders and team members
  • Create a plan and vision for process improvement and automation.
  • Leadership and development of team: Ability to lead others, support lead and senior analysts, and build collaborative and effective relationships
  • Ensure all accounting complies with GAAP and that financial systems and controls are established where appropriate.
  • Provide financial expertise on ad hoc projects as assigned.
  • Play an active role in driving change and continuous improvement in the business and within finance; identifying areas that require improvement.

Bachelor's Degree Required

Education Specifications


  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Advanced Degree/MBA preferred

Experience Requirements


  • Minimum of 8 years of related work experience
  • Able to demonstrate progressive responsibility in finance including financial planning & analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Expertise in coaching/mentoring/managing junior members of the team sharing knowledge and expertise
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in and influence a cross-functional team
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP
  • Demonstrated competency in the use of spreadsheets, tables, and accounting systems for the purpose of data gathering, analysis, and modeling
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable with driving discussions with business partners and presenting to all levels of management
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining the broader, analytical perspective
  • Excellent organizational skills – the ability to balance multiple tasks and set priorities to meet deadlines

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
