If you are looking for work as a Financial Analyst, Robert Half is seeking skilled candidates. Financial Analyst candidates will be interested in this position, where they will have the opportunity to become key business partners in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. The strongest candidates for this position will be comfortable with conducting financial modeling on various financial products, as well as measuring, analyzing and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans. Advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management will also be part of this position. This Financial Analyst role is based in the Abbott Park, Illinois, area and is a long-term contract / contract / contract / temporary employment opportunity.

• Participate in planning with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
• Review annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations
• Support weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting
• Manage monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required
• Understand and explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
• Work with the Accounting group to lead the monthly and quarterly close process
• Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support
• Work with contacts in Accounting and Operations to support business plans
• Analyze performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities
• Compose and oversee forecasting reports
• Flexible candidate that can organize a vast amount of information while managing high expectations
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• Well-founded grasp of VTC
• Mobile App experience
• Strong familiarity with Web App
• Proven knowledge of Video Conferencing

• Perform Ad Hoc Financial experience required
• Spreadsheet and ERP system experience recommended
• Able to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds
• BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
• Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience considered)
• Practical knowledge in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
• Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools experience a plus
• Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
