Summary
The Operations Analyst provides business and labor analysis support services to internal stakeholders. The primary focus of this position is to provide branch event financial analysis with a strong emphasis on labor costs and productivity. The role supports the field operations with analysis and consultation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assume a supporting role within the Business Unit to organize, prioritize, manage and track labor performance on key events.
- Work closely with operations personnel to make sure that labor costs and productivty goals align with event revenue.
- Particiapate in Event Execution calls on key events to understand risks and opportiunities as well as provide any anlaysis support and insight.
- Train and educate various end-users on the many analytical tools available in the organization that can help them better manage their business processes.
- Support national initiatives involving Best Practices and Benchmark Productivity Metrics (BPM’s).
- Participate in annual budget and forecast processes.
- Provide analytical support to locations as needed.
- Analyze data and troubleshoot problems to resolve system and/or data problems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- (2+) years of related work experience
- Proven experience in working with others in a group project or special teams setting
- Solid computer skills to include intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and statistical analysis skills required
- Must be results-focused with a bottom line orientation
- Consultative and advisory skills
- Ability to work effectively with a broad range of internal clients at all business levels
- Ability to analyze and understand financial operating statements
