Financial Planning Analyst Position

The Financial Planning Analyst will utilize the client relationship model & turnkey tools to assist advisors in servicing clients by gathering & analyzing client data, preparing financial plans, assisting clients, processing transactions & trades for clients & other practice management tasks as needed. Provide general administrative operations support as needed. The ideal candidate will be adept at working autonomously while being a resourceful problem-solver, ensuring that all responsibilities are timely and delivered with high quality. They should be well-organized and comfortable responding to emails. Strong writing skills are required.

Responsibilities for Financial Planning Analyst

  • Assist the Franchise Advisor and Associate Financial Advisor in servicing clients including preparing financial plans, conducting investment research and completing trades and transactions.
  • Maintain client contact during the financial planning process. Answer questions and provide readily available information to clients, if requested and as allowable, as it relates to servicing their accounts
  • Track and ensure that all Financial Plans are created and delivered on time.
  • Gather and enter client data into Financial Planning Tool Suite
  • Create financial planning deliverables
  • Run illustrations and hypotheticals
  • Answer questions and provide readily available information to clients, as it relates to servicing their accounts.
  • Manage and resolve client service problems.
  • Review and update client information as needed for client review meetings. Attend and participate in client meetings if necessary.
  • Perform other allowable duties as assigned by the financial advisors
  • Coordinate and assist in marketing efforts as needed
  • Answer office phones and/or greet clients as a backup as needed
  • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
  • Responsibilities will evolve and/or change over time

Qualifications for Financial Planning Analyst

  • Securities registrations, including Series 7, Series 66 (or 63 and 65), and State life, accident and health insurance licenses required.
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience
  • Two years of experience in similar financial service functions
  • Detail orientated, strong math and analytical skills. Good organization and time management skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities effectively. Able to independently work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to communicate with all levels within the organization. Process oriented and can work with a team.
  • A self-motivated, independent worker with an eye for identifying and creating better efficiencies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and social media web platforms
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
