Deltech has an exciting opportunity available for a Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis Manager/Treasurer to be an integral part of our Corporate team. The position will direct and oversee financial, administrative, and risk management activities of the Deltech companies, including preparation of current financial reports as well as summaries and forecasts for future business growth and expansion. The position is also responsible for treasury activities including managing corporate liquidity, investment, and risk management related to the Company’s financial activities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Coordinate budget and forecasting activities. Maintain financial models for accuracy, flexibility, and efficiency in reporting.
- Prepare monthly presentation materials for Board of Director meetings.
- Monitor cash receipts and regularly forecast short-term cash balances.
- Prepare quarterly bank reporting. Forecast financing and bank covenant scenarios.
- Update monthly KPIs; assist in preparation of monthly operation packages, provide variance analysis.
- Update and analyze monthly backlog of prospective work.
- Regularly track/report on capital expenditures.
- Complete ad hoc presentation and analysis requests.
- Collaborate with CFO and Controller to support overall department goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with CFO and Controller to monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Respond to inquiries from CFO, Controller, and other operational managers regarding financial results and special reporting requests.
- Review capital spending plans and projects with Operations to ensure solid financial business justifications are in place. Support OPS in their efforts to optimize asset utilization through reviews, analysis, discussions and goal setting.
- Coordinates efforts with financial partners, investment bankers, auditors, and key vendors.
- Assist with purchase price accounting, networking capital positions, bank account transition to new acquisitions.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Experience: 5 to 7 years prior experience in financial planning and analysis or reporting/general ledger areas
- Computer Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Experience with automated accounting and financial reporting systems a plus.
