Fire Sprinkler Technician Job at M&S Fire Protection, LLC
Fulltime position for an experienced person to perform design layout and CAD drafting of fire sprinkler systems. The applicant would require prior experience in layout and designing of systems, as well as experience with BIM coordination. This position will demand an understanding of the NFPA codes and an ability to research and use them. An understanding of the technical equipment integral to such systems and how it performs will also be necessary to complete the design and layout. NICET preferred. Candidates will be kept confidential.
Responsibilities:
- Layout and Design Fire Sprinkler Systems including hydraulic calculations per NFPA and local codes.
- Pre-construction coordination including BIM.
- Prepare submittals per specifications.
- Work with customers to meet deadlines.
- Perform site surveys, for accurate and quality installations.
- Displaying a high level of independence in decision making.
- Ability to manage and track multiple projects.
- Maintaining records of work completed and to be performed.
