What you will do:
As our Firmware Design Engineer, you will be part of the R&D Team and develop embedded controllers and level sensors. You will develop firmware, and mobile Apps Solutions for new and existing products which help control and monitor one of the world’s most valuable and limited resources– Water! This position may work in our Detroit Lakes, MN or Ashland, OH location.
The job:
Every day, your primary role will be to assist in developing electronic hardware for pump control applications as well as testing and submitting for agency approval. You will also develop and debug the firmware for embedded controllers. You will work in a project team environment with internal and external customers to create new products or improve existing products. You will occasionally develop mobile applications for smart phone, tablets or PC’s for panel and alarm products.
The skills you need:
To succeed in this role, you must have experience with Embedded C, be familiar with debugging embedded systems, and have an understanding of I2C, UART, and SPI interfaces. A 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering and 1-2 years of experience are required.
