The Fleet and Facility Manager is responsible for the effective management and organization of transportation maintenance activities and building maintenance. These responsibilities include arranging the purchasing and financing for vehicles, tracking and maintenance of vehicles and safety management. This role will help with improving the efficiency and managing the quality and value of the fleet. Other responsibilities include managing the firm's USDOT program-training, documentation and maintaining compliance with the program. Facilities duties include overseeing building and ground maintenance for properties owned and leased by the firm.
Essential Duties:
- Responsible for carrying out a wide variety of tasks related to planning, managing, and coordinating fleet management activities
- Directing and organizing tasks related to procurement, operation, maintenance, repair and servicing of vehicles
- Conduct audits of vehicles to confirm each vehicle has appropriate documentation, maintenance and cleanliness
- Maintain and file statistical reports/records (maintenance, repairs, depreciation, mileage, etc.)
- Develop annual budget, analyze/review financial data, and manage/authorize expenditures
- Assist in developing new policies, programs and procedures
- Purchase vehicles to expand/enhance the fleet (understanding of financial terms, loans, leases, etc.)
- Manage the USDOT program for JEO and affiliated companies
- Oversee building and grounds maintenance for properties owned by JEO
- Oversee tenant responsibilities and finishes for properties leased by JEO
- Site checks for work completed by vendors/contractors
- Assists with procurement of office furnishings for replacement and new locations
- Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical and facility design modifications
- Manage and review service contracts
- Conduct and document regular facilities inspections

- Innovation - Displays original thinking and creativity; meets challenges with resourcefulness; generates suggestions for improving work; develops innovative approaches and ideas; presents ideas and information in a manner that gets others' attention
Experience/Education:
- 5+ years experience in a similar capacity preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline preferred
