We are currently seeking a Fleet Mechanic at our Indianapolis Regent Street facility. The Fleet Mechanic is responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance on box trailers, tankers, tractors, and company maintenance vehicles. This will include such tasks as replacement of landing gear, tanker valves, repair of air brake systems, electrical systems, basic hydraulics, general repairs, and other issues as they arise. The fleet mechanic must also maintain vehicles in accordance with DOT requirements. A typical work week is 40 hours, with fluctuations based on work load.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience or a technical degree in diesel technology (preferred)
• Have a general working knowledge of mechanics and basic 12/24V electrical systems
• Have basic experience and knowledge in MIG welding techniques preferred
• Be able to work with a tablet computer and perform basic computer functions
• Be willing and able to work in extreme heat, cold, and in rain
• Be able to work flexible hours and perform well in a team environment
• Be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Be energetic, self-motivated, and willing to learn new maintenance procedures and techniques
