Fleet Shifter Job at Excell Communications Inc
Job Description: A shifter will be responsible for allowing our fleet vehicles to stay on the road by dropping off for repairs, picking up parts or delivering vehicles in the field. You must hold a valid drivers license and have an understanding of basic fleet needs. Excellent communication is a must.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Driver’s License
- A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent is preferred.
- An understanding of basic fleet needs i.e. services, maintenance, paperwork
Responsibilities:
- Carry out vehicle movements in the Tri-State area
- Takes direction from Fleet Coordinators on vehicle moves
- Runs parts to various locations
- Checks vehicles and reports on basic maintenance needed
- Ensures cleanliness of vehicles and proper paperwork is up to date
