Atlas Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, seeks a Flex Crew Supervisor for our facility in Blytheville, AR. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Flex Crew Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the Atlas Tube Blytheville Flex Crew shift. They will supervise the shift production, slitter, maintenance breakdown priorities & warehouse/shipping crew.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Supervise mill production and slitter production to ensure that production and quality standards are achieved. Oversee warehouse/shipping personnel to achieve shipping goals.
• Aid in prioritizing maintenance emergency calls with the on-site maintenance team members
• Provide technical expertise and training to all mill manufacturing areas
• Perform critical mill production decisions
• Work safely following workplace safety practices set forth by Atlas Tube Inc. & OSHA
• Review daily operating reports and report operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues and shift events to superiors in order to prevent operational delays
• Troubleshoot operational and tooling problems to improve quality and efficiency
• Build and maintain a positive team oriented environment amongst production personnel
• Evaluate employee performance objectively based upon the job requirements and behavioral indicators of performance
• Discipline mill personnel in coordination with plant management and Human Resources
• Obtain immediate medical treatment for all injuries
• Notify appropriate management and enter required events (accidents, injuries, incidents) into Intelex
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role
• Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Post-Secondary Education, Technical Diploma or equivalent structural steel tube or pipe mill manufacturing experience
• Computer skills
• Demonstrated Communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to:

• Bend, twist, stoop, sit, kneel, crawl, push and pull. Able to reach in all directions.
• Walk and stand for extended periods of time to cover 10 - 12 hour shifts
• Other physical requirements as needed for job.
