Floor Technician/ Strip and Wax Job at Diamond Shine LLC
Pro-Clean Building Maintenance - a fast growing Building Service Contractor in NM (cleaning commercial buildings of all types) – is looking for responsible individuals to fill positions of Janitors (Cleaners / Floor Technicians).
Experienced floor care technicians are needed. Night position. Travel required. Stripping & Waxing averages 4 nights a week at 100.00 per night. More hours / nights are available sweeping, mopping and scrubbing floors at $70 per night.
Responsibilities include: the overall floor maintenance of hard surfaces- stripping, waxing, buffing. Performs housekeeping and cleaning activities within well established guidelines and assigned areas to ensure that quality standards, safety guidelines and customer service expectations are met.
The heavy floor technician is responsible for satisfactory and timely completion of assigned cleaning areas according to schedule.
Reports equipment/cleaning product needs and or malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion.
Cover stores as needed for regular cleaning
Is responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions.
Work involves pulling and pushing, carrying weight up to 50 pounds, twisting, bending and reaching from floor to waist height and from waist to above head.
Applies stripper to floors (slippery surface) to remove old wax then refinishes floors with new wax product.
Represents all customer policies and procedures in a positive manner;
is able to follow oral instructions, is pleasant, tactful and courteous and cooperative with supervisor, co-workers, residents and client staff.
