The Opportunity
The Security Manager provides exceptional customer service, professional response to emergency situations and displays the values set forth by the CREWS Global Security & Business Continuity function in all our QRG U.S. locations.
This position in responsible for the main fulfillment center in Florence and two satellite locations in Dillon, SC and Lumberton, NC. You will work onsite for this position and will report to the Area Security Manager.

You will provide direction in the delivery of comprehensive security services, systems, and programs to protect QRG team members, operations and facilities and the business from threats and harm. Lead a team of contract and proprietary team members and manage security team in a matrixed environment ensuring necessary operational responsibilities are met. Operational responsibilities include access control, investigations, fire protection, emergency response, incident management and business continuity. Directly manage the onsite security team to ensure all required security services are delivered as defined in SOPs and Global Security Operations Procedures.

Your Impact
- Oversee contract and proprietary security staff.
- Develop the skills of staff in the assigned area, providing guidance to area personnel by reviewing performance and providing feedback promptly to the security officer or contract security professional.
- Meet with staff to review department changes and statistics, respond to questions, and communicate any issues/concerns to the group.
- Oversee multi-site security operations to ensure compliance with established departmental and operational procedures. Provide leadership in the delivery of comprehensive security services, systems, and programs.
- Operational responsibilities include access control, investigations, fire protection, emergency response, incident management and business continuity.
- Directly manage the onsite security team to ensure all required security services are delivered as defined in SOPs and Global Security Operations Procedures. Collaborate with key business stakeholders and initiate security improvements and risk mitigations strategies.
- Ensure the accurate identification, tracking and monitoring of problem situations. Track department activity statistics. Evaluate opportunities to improve the security environment at the site. Plan, control, and coordinate Security activities within the site.
- Work in close collaboration with the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) to monitor internal and external threats to the business, introduces mitigation strategies, and escalates incidents to senior leadership.
- Be a liaison to all site departments, local law enforcement and other emergency service providers.
What You Bring
- Demonstrate customer service, focus on safety, and responsiveness.
- Develop working knowledge of all areas of the site operation and the ability to develop a clear understanding of necessary functional processes and resources as they relate to security.
- Have a basic understanding of the FC principles (inbound/outbound operations) to ensure security measures are in place to reduce shrinkage.
- Process rapid problem resolution around a crisis or serious physical security incident or emergency situations.
- Have interpersonal skills to influence a group of stakeholders across the site.
- Experience with security operations as they apply to market region. Lead a team of direct reports at the site or contract security staff.
- Work under stressful or emergency conditions in both crisis and non-crisis situations.
- Ability to travel when needed to other market locations to manage security issues, concerns, and threats.
- Be available for on call 24/7.
- An undergraduate degree in a related field is preferred. A high school diploma or the equivalent is required.
- 3+ years previous lead/supervisory experience in a similar working environment or a combination of seasonal developmental positions with other related experience is required (security or law enforcement). 5+ years leadership experience in law enforcement or corporate security experience.
- Demonstrated leadership and demonstrated initiative is necessary.
- Familiarity with business applications - Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), PowerPoint - is necessary.
