Florist Job at New Hire Solutions
Bainbridge, GA l Temp to Perm l $11.00 / Hour
We are searching for a green-thumbed Florist for a locally owned flower shop. This position requires the florist to arrange flowers for different events and must have great customer service skills as you will speak with customers regarding their orders. To ensure success as a florist, you should demonstrate accurate, updated knowledge about flowers' nutritional requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving shipments, and then snipping and displaying our flowers
- Topping up watering solutions to enhance our flowers' life spans
- Advising clients on possible flower combinations
- Providing occasion-specific flower suggestions
- Carefully arranging palatable bouquets for purchase
- Packaging clients' flowers to prevent breakages
- Coordinating all regional flower deliveries
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience as a florist
- Knowledgeable about flower handling techniques
- Ability to nourish, combine, and affix flowers and pertinent accessories
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM, every other Saturdays 8:00AM - 12:00PM
Pay Rate: $11.00 / Hour
Location: Bainbridge, GA
