Kikka sushi is looking for energetic, hardworking, dependable, team players that will provide great customer service in our new located in the new Whole Foods Market at: 12501 120th Ave NE, Kirkland, WA 98034

We have part time 6 - 8 hours a day, 3 – 4 days a week or Full Time positions working 7 - 8 hour shifts (with an hour unpaid meal break), 5 days a week including all Saturdays and Sundays, and holidays between 7am to 6pm.

The Food Prep / Cook will make sushi in advance and per customer's request. No experience making sushi, no problem we will teach you!

The team member will also do prep work, prepare other Asian foods and maintain a clean and neat environment while helping customers in a fun, fast paced, exciting environment.

To thrive in this job you must show up to work on time and as scheduled, have a flexible morning and evening availability, be willing to work hard (this isn’t an easy job), be patient (it takes about 3 months to get comfortable with the job), must be willing to stick it out (not quit after a few days or weeks) and be able to work with multi-cultural and multi-lingual co-workers, some who barely speak English.

Pay is:$17 per hour.

Qualifications:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Must be familiar with sushi
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be able and willing to work all Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
• Be eligible to work in the U.S.

Preferred experience:

• Working in quick service restaurants, supermarkets or fast paced environments
• Food handling experience and food handler certification
