Our guests can choose from one of our Artisan pizza’s which are a curated selections of toppings or Create Their Own Artisan, allowing them to be the artist.

JOB SUMMARY

The Food Service Manager is responsible for operating and overseeing the inline deli located within Giant supermarket while ensuring deliveries are made to several Giant locations. The Food Service Managers duties include interviewing, hiring, training, and managing performance of the team to meet company standards. The Food Service Manager is responsible for the profitability and will have direct control of the P&L by driving sales and monitoring costs daily.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Hires and trains a team of 3-4 people and manages all HR related activities

· Implements sales building initiatives in collaboration with the Dept. Director

· Plans and organizes daily activities related to production and operations

· Measures productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports

· Conducts weekly inventories

· Ensures take and bake pizzas are delivered to Giant locations within surrounding area

REQUIREMENTS

· Two to three years prior food retail management experience

· Extensive knowledge of operations and production management

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software

· Ability to work a flexible schedule when necessary

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

Serv-Safe Manager and strong knowledge of food safety standards

Pizza experience a plus
