Forklift Driver/Material handler Job at Blazer Industries Inc
Blazer Industries, Inc. a builder of modular commercial buildings is looking for a Material Handler/Forklift Driver to add to our team.
Essential Duties:
- Unload delivery trucks.
- Inspect materials for quality.
- Sort materials and store in appropriate locations.
- Read work orders or receive verbal instructions to determine material and timeline delivery needs.
- Deliver materials to production crews.
- Process required paperwork for incoming /outgoing materials.
- Conduct safety inspection and maintenance on forklift.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of raw materials used in construction, lumber, plumbing sheathing, electrical items, required
- Efficient & Safe forklift operations skills, required
- Must have the ability to regularly lift 50lbs, occasionally 100 lbs, required
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Experience in Construction warehouse or building supply environment, preferred
We keep our work environment clean and have a strong focus on safety. All work is completed at our site in Aumsville, Oregon so there is no additional travel required.
