Forklift Mechanic Job at Lift Truck Sales & Service, Inc.
Lift Truck Sales & Service, Inc. is a leading forklift service provider in East Tennessee, Southern Kentucky, and Northern Georgia, and we are looking to add to our team in multiple areas of our territory. We are looking for experienced Forklift Mechanics to service and repair our customer's forklifts as a Road Technician. Job Requirements include the following but other duties may be assigned:
- Perform service, diagnosis and repairs on gas, LPG, diesel and electric forklifts.
- Perform safety inspections on gas, LPG, diesel and electric forklifts.
- Communicate clearly and effectively.
- Properly complete all paperwork.
- Demonstrate a desire and ability to take care of the customer.
- Follow all safety procedures in performing work.
Required Skills
- High school diploma, G.E.D. or tech school graduate preferred.
- Forklift mechanical experience is a must.
- Mechanical aptitude is a must.
- Ability to frequently lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Supply own hand tools.
- Good communication and paperwork skills.
- Ability to pass a physical, drug screen and background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
