We are currently searching for the position of a Forklift driver located in Santa Fe Springs, CA. Working with a team of approximately 2 – 30 people in the daily routine of producing quality corrugated products in a safe, productive manner with minimum waste. Also, he/she will need to Cross-train employees in key positions. Our ideal candidate will have an interest in growing a career in our company.

Job Description: Forklift Operator

Primary Duties:

• Unloading the main line
• Stacking units
• Operating stretch wrap machine
• Loading Trailers
• Dumping scrap bins

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent; up to 12 months related experience or training in the corrugated industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Forklift Certified
• Good interpersonal & communication skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment, learn quickly and follow established processes

Physical Demands

To successfully perform the essential functions of this role it requires the ability to: frequent use of hands (reach with hands and arms), view computer monitor, speak and hear on a frequent basis. The role requires occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities required to include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
