Frankenmuth River Place Shops Director of Events Job at Bavarian Inn Lodge
Responsible for planning, managing, and successfully executing all events held at Frankenmuth River Place Shops. There are currently approximately 26 events held in a typical calendar year. Our events will ensure that we provide out guests with enjoyable experiences through “Shopping, Eating and Exploring” at our Bavarian Themed Village. Budgets, establishes and creates a written work plan for each event. Coordinates between General Manager, Facility Manager, Leadership and vendors for events. Works closely with Corporate Accounting Department to create a financial summary of certain events.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 3+ years in managing and executing small to large events. Bachelor's Degree in event management, project management or related hospitality discipline. Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, and Power Point. Willingness to undertake continuing education and/or skills enhancements
