About us
Yates Community Center is a small business in Penn Yan, NY. Our goal is to provide health, wellness, educational and recreational opportunities to all Yates county and surrounding residents.
We are looking for a Front Desk Agent to join our team and provide exceptional customer service to our members. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong attention to detail. The successful candidate will be able to handle any customer inquiries or complaints in a professional manner.
This position will require up to 3 nights per week (4-8pm) and the flexibility to work either Saturday or Sunday.
Position will include free use of the fitness center outside of working hours.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding member services to prospective members, including tours, orientation, membership sign-ups, and other functions.
- Assist the Fitness Manager with membership/administrative functions to maintain quality control over the membership area.
- Update customer information, ensuring data integrity in our business application.
- Review data for deficiencies or errors.
- Promotes membership and program enrollment and aids in assimilating new members into specific programs.
- Ability to work weeknights and weekends
- End of shift duties include but are not limited to dusting, emptying trash bins, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.20 per hour
