Bilingual Medical Receptionist: Location- Ocoee/Oviedo/Celebration

You Will Be Responsible For:
Primarily responsible for ensuring smooth clinic operation and patient flow. Assist in delivery of patient care.

  • Must travel to all locations Ocoee - Oviedo- Celebration
  • Check in/ Check out
  • Schedule patients appointments in person and on the phone
  • Insurance verification
  • Insurance authorizations
  • Responsible for the collection of patient demographics, collection of copays, collection and completion of daily deposits, answering phones and making appointment
  • Is responsible for ensuring smooth clinic operation and patient flow.
  • Greets patients and visitors:
  • With a friendly tone and smile
  • Instructs patients to sign in
  • Instruct patients to complete registration packet, verifies, and updates patient information.
  • Obtains and scans copies of I.D. cards, insurance cards etc
  • Collects co-pays, deductibles and co-insurance.
  • Answers phones and schedules appointments, uses proper phone etiquette at all times, creates patient case as needed.
  • Checks voicemail throughout the day.
  • Checks third party vendors for appointments and referrals, work tickler file per office protocol.
  • Completes check out process, daily close, deposits and ensures daily delivery of deposits.
  • Maintains office supply inventory and orders supplies per purchasing protocol.
  • Ensures front lobby is clean and stocked throughout the day.
  • Maintains medical records and processes in a timely manner.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

  • 3 years experience as medical receptionist
  • Bilingual (spanish/english)
  • EMR Experience
  • E- Clinical works
  • Pleasant phone etiquette and face to face interaction
  • Multitasking capabilities
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Ability to use multifunction devices
  • High school diploma or GED preferred

Job Summary:

A non-exempt position responsible for performing all patient data collection, charge entry, communication with patients, venders, and public also to assist in the delivery of patient care by obtaining medical information, assisting in basic room preparation, assisting with in office procedures and maintaining patient, physician, and clinic communication.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
