Valeria Salon & Med Spa in Huntersville is looking for great individuals to join our team as Front Desk Receptionists! These individuals should be friendly, hard-working, and able to work in a fast-paced (but fun!) environment. We are a local, privately owned salon that is distinguished and busy!

We need individuals with complete open availability, including evenings and weekends. We have part-time and full-time positions available. While our scheduling is flexible, being on time and showing up on the days you are available is crucial and mandatory. Due to the nature of our business, Saturday availablity is a MUST!

These individuals should possess:

• an upbeat, positive attitude;
• strong computer skills;
• a professional workplace attire, hair, and make-up**;
• the ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs;
• the ability to self-motivate and complete tasks quickly;
• overall ability to stay on task at all times, even if/when business is slow.

**Being the face of the salon requires that front desk receptionists are always well put together. Valeria Salon asks that all Front Desk Receptionists have clean appearances with tidy hair and make-up, as well as wear clean, professional, all-black attire each shift.

Front Desk Receptionist responsibilities within the salon include, but are not limited to:

• greeting and checking in/out of clients,
• book and confirm appointments,
• answer guest’s questions on services and products,
• transaction processing, both cash, card, and gift card,
• assisting clients at our make-up counter,
• maintaining cleanliness of both the salon and boutique,
• helping assist with salon laundry.

Preferred Requirements

• Knowledge of SalonBiz
• 1-2 years experience
• Professional with consistent positive workplace attitude
• Computer and Interpersonal Skills

Valeria’s Hours of Operation are:

Monday: 10- 6p

Tuesday: 10a - 8p

Wednesday: 10a - 8p

Thursday: 10a - 8p

Friday: 10a - 6p

Saturday: 9a - 6p

Pay:

Front Desk Receptionists at Valeria are hourly employees that get paid every Friday.
