About the Role:
We are looking for a Front-End Software Engineer interested in building engaging and insightful products for managing and visualizing large scale distributed real-time data streams. Data flow is central to how companies operate, and we aim to make that experience intuitive and attractive. As a Front-End Software Engineer, you will be responsible for creating new visualizations and interfaces that scale with Apache Kafka.
About Our Stack:
- Multiple SPAs written in React over a common codebase using Yarn Workspaces
- Code verification done with comprehensive linting, type checking and unit + e2e tests
- Deployments happen daily with the ability to test each and every commit in production (even PRs)
- Feature flags unblock us from coordinating releases with backend teams
- Bots keep all of our dependencies up to date
Who You Are:
- Smart, humble, and empathetic
- Have a strong sense of teamwork and put team’s and company’s interests first
- Driven and excited about challenges of a fast-paced, innovative software startup environment
- Bachelor’s or master's degree in Computer Science, or related science, quantitative, or computing field
- Experience building web applications for applications
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience with React/Flux, modern js tooling (Gulp/Grunt)/Webpack/Babel
- Strong foundation in algorithms and application design
At Confluent, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry standards. We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience and location. This position has an annual estimated salary of $117,500 - $132,200 USD, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package.
